Vickers vane pump usage precautions include:
Pump direction: Vane pumps have a specified direction of rotation and reversal is not allowed. The rotor blade slot is tilted, the blade has chamfers, and the suction and discharge direction will also change. Reversible vane pumps must be specially designed.
Assembly requirements: The oil distribution plate and the stator are correctly positioned with locating pins, and the blades, rotors, and oil distribution plates must not be installed upside down. The suction area of the inner surface of the stator is prone to wear and tear. If necessary, it can be turned over and installed for continued use.
Cleaning requirements: Pay attention to the cleanliness of the working surface during disassembly and assembly, and the oil should be well filtered. The gap between the blades in the blade slot should be appropriate. Too large or too small will affect the performance.
Temperature and viscosity requirements: The temperature of the oil should generally not exceed 55°C, and the viscosity should be between 17 and 37 mm2/s. If the viscosity is too high, it will be difficult to absorb the oil, and if the viscosity is too low, the leakage will be serious.
